1.3 What are skill-based games?
Skill-based games are not games of chance (i.e. gambling or casino games) as your chances of winning tournaments are directly related to your skill level for a particular game. For example, having a good vocabulary will give you a better chance of winning Speed Word tournaments.
You are nevertheless responsible for ensuring that your playing in the tournaments offered by GamezAddict does not infringe the laws and regulations of the territory or country that you are in. You may, however, continue to play on our free-play games.

1.4 Do I need to register with GamezAddict?
Registration as a member is required before you can play free-play games or join any of the tournaments at GamezAddict.
For free-play games, you are required to provide only three pieces of information i.e. your name, your e-mail address and your place or country of residence. For Regular or Premium Tournament plays, you will need to provide additional information to allow for processing of deposits and withdrawals as well as for gift redemption purposes.

1.5 Does registration cost any money?
No, registration with GamezAddict is free.

1.6 Is it really secure to become a member of GamezAddict?

1.7 Will I receive any e-mail from GamezAddict?
Yes, GamezAddict will send you periodic e-mails from time to time to inform you of new developments at our website. In addition, we may also send you e-mails relating to any of your deposit and withdrawal transactions, tournament winnings, or your requests for gift redemptions.

1.8 Do you sell my personal information to third parties?
No, GamezAddict does not sell or share any of your personal information.

1.9 What is the currency used by GamezAddict for handling deposit and withdrawal transactions and prize monies?

2.1 When can I play?
You can play the free-play games or join any of our tournaments at any time. The GamezAddict website operates on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. However, the GamezAddict Website may be unavailable from time to time to permit us to carry out site upgrading and / or maintenance works.

2.2 Can I learn the games before I play in tournaments?
We recommend new players to play and practice on our free-play games so that they can become familiar and comfortable with our games before joining the Regular or Premium Tournaments. Unlimited free-play games are available and the GamezAddict Hall of Fame will record and keep track of the top 50 high scores for each type of game. Instructions and hints are provided for each game. You will find these at the GA Play-A-Game Page of each respective game.

2.3 What kinds of tournaments are available?
We offer multiplayer Regular and Premium Tournaments for each game currently available at GamezAddict. These tournaments allow you to challenge other players to win cash prizes and GA Reward Points. A tournament can be either “one vs one” (i.e. a two-player tournament) or “one vs. one vs. one” (i.e. a three-player tournament).
In order to enhance your gaming experience, GamezAddict may introduce new tournament formats from time to time in the future, and we will keep you updated accordingly. Please note that you must be residing in a territory or country that permits you to play in our type of tournaments.

2.4 What is the entry fee to play in the tournaments?
It costs USD0.50 per play in a Regular Tournament and USD2.00 per play in a Premium Tournament.

2.5 What kinds of prizes are awarded?

Regular Tournament

• Two-Player Regular Tournament: The winner of a two-player Regular Tournament will receive USD0.80 and one GA Reward Point. The losing player will receive one GA Reward Point.
• Three-Player Regular Tournament: The winner of a three-player Regular Tournament will receive USD1.10 and one GA Reward Point. The losing players will each receive one GA Reward Point.

• Two-Player Premium Tournament: The winner of a two-player Premium Tournament will receive USD3.20 and two GA Reward Points. The losing player will receive two GA Reward Points.
  
• Three-Player Premium Tournament: The winner of a three-player Premium Tournament will receive USD4.40 and two GA Reward Points. The losing players will each receive two GA Reward Points.
  
• In addition, every time a Premium Tournament closes, GamezAddict will contribute USD0.20 per Premium Tournament to the Treasure Chest for that particular game. The player with the highest score amongst all the Premium Tournaments for that game during the course of a week (i.e. from Monday to Sunday) will win all the money in that Treasure Chest. Only the winners of Premium Tournaments are eligible for the Treasure Chest.
  

No cash prizes or GA Reward Points will be awarded if GamezAddict refunds your tournament fees for whatever reason.

2.6 What are GA Reward Points?
You receive a GA Reward Point every time you play in a Regular or Premium Tournament regardless of whether you win a tournament or not. Collect GA Reward Points in order to redeem for awesome prizes such as gift vouchers, electronic items and gadgets!

2.7 What is a Treasure Chest?
Each time a Premium Tournament closes, GamezAddict will contribute USD0.20 per Premium Tournament to the Treasure Chest for a particular game. The amount of money in a Treasure Chest for a particular game will therefore depend on the number of Premium Tournaments that have closed during the course of a week (i.e. from Monday to Sunday). Each game has a separate Treasure Chest. Only the winners of Premium Tournaments are eligible for the Treasure Chest. The player that obtains the highest score amongst all the Premium Tournaments winners for that type of game over a particular week will automatically win all the money in that Treasure Chest. Each game’s Treasure Chest will run over a seven-day period from Monday to Sunday (closing will be at 23:59:59 on Sunday, U.S. Eastern Time). GamezAddict will alert the winner of a Treasure Chest via a flashing envelope icon on the GA Account Summary Panel that appears on every page on the GamezAddict website. Click on the flashing envelope icon for details.

2.8 How many people can I play against?
It’s up to you to decide whether you want to play against one player or two other players. Obviously, a three-player tournament will offer bigger prizes.

2.9 How do I play in tournaments?
Once you have logged in with GamezAddict, you will enter the GA Games Selection Page. Select a game to play by clicking on the relevant PLAY NOW button, and you will be brought to the GA Play-A-Game Page. Select the type of tournament you would like to play (i.e. Regular Tournament or Premium Tournament) and the number of players you would like to play against (i.e. two-player or three-player tournament) by clicking on the relevant button. At the GA Tournament Play Confirmation Page, you must confirm your wish to play in the selected tournament by clicking on the I AGREE button. GamezAddict will then assign you to the relevant tournament and the game will commence. A sophisticated, intelligent player matching system is used to allocate you to the next available tournament. This system ensures that you do not play against yourself.

2.10 What happens after I complete a tournament game?
Once you have completed a tournament game, you will be taken to the GA Game Results Page where you will be informed of your score and the current status of the tournament you have played.

2.11 When will a tournament close?
The Regular and Premium Tournaments will remain open until the necessary number of players has played. For example, a three-player tournament will remain open until three players have entered and completed their respective games. Once the third player has completed his or her game, then the tournament will close. The player with the highest score wins the tournament. GamezAddict will alert each of the players that the particular tournament has closed and whether they have won or not via a flashing envelope icon on the GA Account Summary Panel. Click on the flashing envelope icon for details.

2.12 How do I win tournaments?
The player with the highest score in a tournament will be judged the winner. Your prize money and GA Reward Point will be deposited into your GamezAddict Account. You can view the status of your GamezAddict Account at any time by clicking the ACCOUNT DETAILS link on the GA Quick Links Panel. GamezAddict will alert each of the players that the particular tournament has closed and whether they have won or not via a flashing envelope icon on the GA Account Summary Panel. Click on the flashing envelope icon for details. The winners of Premium Tournaments will also automatically be in the running to win the relevant weekly Treasure Chests.

2.13 How do I know if I have won a tournament?
GamezAddict will alert each of the players that the particular tournament has closed and whether they have won or not via a flashing envelope icon on the GA Account Summary Panel. Click on the flashing envelope icon to see the tournament results. You can also view your status in the tournaments that you have played by clicking the ACCOUNT DETAILS link on the GA Quick Links Panel.

2.14 What happens when I win a tournament?
When you win a tournament, the cash prize together with the GA Reward Points will be deposited into your GamezAddict Account. These funds can be used as entry fees for other tournaments or may be withdrawn (if you have the minimum amount of funds that can be withdrawn). Your individual GamezAddict Account status is available for inspection at any time by clicking the ACCOUNT DETAILS link on the GA Quick Links Panel.

2.15 Will I lose the tournament entry fee if I lose my connection to the server or if there is an interruption in the electricity supply?
If you lose your link with the GamezAddict game and / or tournament servers during a tournament game arising from an interruption to your Internet connection or electricity supply, your final score for that game will be recognised as zero. Under such circumstances, you may inform us of such service interruption by contacting support@gamezaddict.com. GamezAddict is not obliged to make refunds under such circumstances, as such service interruptions are beyond our control and responsibility. However, if the service interruption is determined by GamezAddict to be valid and unfair to you, the amount of your tournament entry fee will be refunded to your GamezAddict Account. We do not send cash directly to a player. No cash prizes or GA Reward Points will be awarded if GamezAddict refunds your tournament fees for whatever reason.

2.16 Can a tournament be interrupted?
GamezAddict uses its best efforts to reliably deliver its services (i.e. the games and tournaments). However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and network computing, the delivery of such services may be interrupted or improperly initiated due to failures of hardware, software or network devices. Such failures include but are not limited to failure of servers, server software, service provide connections, client computer, client computer connections, client browsers or such other devices or systems that relate to the delivery, distribution and execution of the games and tournaments. Furthermore, due to the nature of tournaments, a player’s game entries cannot be undone once processed. Any failures as mentioned above or on the part of the player will result in a score of zero being recognised.
Under such circumstances, you may inform us of such service interruption by contacting support@gamezaddict.com. GamezAddict is not obliged to make automatic refunds under such circumstances as such service interruptions may be beyond our control and responsibility. However, after determining the cause of such failure and determining that the responsibility of such failure lies completely with GamezAddict, then GamezAddict although not obliged, may, at its option, refund the amount of your tournament entry fee to your GamezAddict Account. We do not send cash directly to a player. No cash prizes or GA Reward Points will be awarded if GamezAddict refunds your tournament fees for whatever reason.

2.17 How do some players achieve the very high scores shown in the GamezAddict Hall of Fame or as displayed in GA Tournament Play History Page?
The games offered by GamezAddict are skill-based games. The scores earned by players depend on their individual skill at playing the games. The ability to achieve high scores will depend on frequency of play, knowledge (where appropriate for certain games) and becoming familiar with a particular game’s mechanics and characteristics.

2.18 How does GamezAddict prevent people from cheating?
We have put in place sophisticated security features that enable us to detect players that attempt to cheat. GamezAddict has the right to void tournaments scores and winnings, revoke accounts and pursue legal action against those players found to be cheating.

3. GamezAddict Reward Points System (Back to top of page)

3.1 What are GA Reward Points?
The GA Reward Points system allows players to collect GA Reward Points every time they take part in any of the tournaments offered by GamezAddict. GA Reward Points are awarded regardless of whether a player has won or lost in a tournament. Players need to collect and accumulate GA Reward Points in order to redeem for cool prizes such as gift vouchers electronic items and gadgets.

3.2 How are the GA Reward Points awarded?
GA Reward Points are awarded to any player that participates in any of the Regular or Premium Tournaments offered by GamezAddict

Regular Tournament

• Two-Player Regular Tournament: The winner of a two-player Regular Tournament will receive USD0.80 and one GA Reward Point. The player who lost will receive one GA Reward Point.

3.3 Will I be awarded GA Reward Points for playing free-play games?
No, GA Reward Points are only available to those players that participate in the Regular and Premium Tournaments.

You need to collect and accumulate GA Reward Points in order to redeem for prizes such as gift vouchers electronic items and gadgets.

3.5 How do I check on the amount of GA Reward Points that I have collected?
The amount of GA Reward Points that you have collected is indicated on the GA Account Summary Panel. You may also click on either the GA REWARD POINTS link (graphic) or the ACCOUNT DETAILS link on the GA Quick Links Panel for a detailed summary of the status of your GA Reward Points.

3.6 What is the maximum amount of GA Reward Points that I can collect? Is there a limit to how long I can collect them?
There is no limit to the amount of GA Reward Points that you can accumulate. You can earn as many GA Reward Points as you can. There is also no time limit as to how long you wish to accumulate your GA Reward Points.

3.7 How do I redeem for gifts and prizes?
To redeem, click on the GA REWARD POINTS link (graphic) to go to the GA Redemption Page and select your desired prizes. You will need to have the required amount of GA Reward Points to redeem your selected gift. The GA Redemption Page also contains the REDEMPTION HISTORY link on the GA Quick Links Panel that allows you to view the status of all your redemption requests.

3.8 How will the redeemed gifts or prizes be delivered to me?
Once you have chosen the item to be redeemed, you will be brought to the GA Redemption Confirmation Page where you will need to enter the following information for delivery purposes:

• Your first name;
• Your last name;
• Your full address;
• Your e-mail address;
• Your contact number.

GamezAddict will then send an e-mail to you confirming the details that you have submitted.
GamezAddict will require two to four weeks in order to process your redemption request, and will notify you via e-mail once we have arranged for delivery.

4.1 What is a GamezAddict Account? How do I check on the status of my GamezAddict Account?
Each player that registers with us has a GamezAddict Account. You may access your GamezAddict Account at any time by clicking on the ACCOUNT DETAILS link on the GA Quick Links Panel. You will then be brought to the GA Account Details Page where you will find a history of all your tournament results as well as all transactions performed.

4.2 Can I change my User ID or password?
You are not allowed to change your User ID. You may change your password by clicking on the UPDATE PROFILE link at the GA Quick Links Panel and keying in your new password at the required fields.

4.3 I can't remember my User ID or password. Can you send the details to me?
If you have forgotten your User ID, please send your name and e-mail address to us at support@gamezaddict.com. If you have forgotten your password, just click on the FORGOT PASSWORD link at the GA Home Page. You will need to submit your User ID so that we can send the password to the e-mail address that you have registered with GamezAddict.

4.4 Can I change the personal information that I have registered with GamezAddict?
You may change your personal information by clicking on the UPDATE PROFILE link at the GA Quick Links Panel and updating the relevant information.

4.5 How do I deposit funds into my GamezAddict Account?
There are three methods of payments available to enable you to deposit funds into your GamezAddict Account:

4.7 Are there any charges for depositing funds?
Unlike some other skill-based games websites, GamezAddict does not impose any fees or charges for the deposit of funds into a GamezAddict Account. However, you must bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by the relevant payment mechanisms relating to deposits made to your GamezAddict Account.

4.8 Are there any charges for withdrawing funds?
GamezAddict does not impose any charge for withdrawals performed by way of PayPal®.

You may also withdraw using the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. The minimum and maximum amounts that you can withdraw via the Western Union Money Transfer Service® are USD20.00 and USD100.00 respectively. However, a service charge of USD15.00 per withdrawal request is imposed for withdrawals performed by way of the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. This charge is imposed by the Western Union Money Transfer Service® and will be deducted from the amount that you wish to withdraw. Please note that the Western Union Money Transfer Service® may vary the service charge from time to time, and we will advise you accordingly. In addition, GamezAddict will impose an administrative charge of USD2.50 per withdrawal request. For example, if you wish to withdraw USD25.00 from your GamezAddict Account via the Western Union Money Transfer Service®, the total amount remitted to you will be USD7.50 (i.e. USD25.00 minus the USD15.00 service charge and USD2.50 administrative charge).

However, please note that you must bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by the relevant payment mechanisms relating to withdrawals from your GamezAddict Account.

4.9 Do I earn interest on the funds in my GamezAddict Account?
No, GamezAddict does not provide any interest on your GamezAddict Account cash balance.

4.10 Why can’t I access my GamezAddict Account?
You need to ensure that you are using the correct User ID and password. Please contact us at support@gamezaddict.com if you need further assistance.

4.11 How do I cancel my GamezAddict Account?
Please contact us at support@gamezaddict.com if you wish to permanently close your GamezAddict Account. We will then send a return e-mail to notify you that your account has been closed and that you have been removed from our mailing lists.

4.12 Can I have more than one GamezAddict Account?
No, each player may only open and maintain one GamezAddict Account. Each account must be individually funded. We reserve the right to terminate those accounts that we establish to be operated by a single individual.

4.13 Can GamezAddict terminate my account?
GamezAddict may terminate an account for any violation of our Terms and Conditions. In addition to account termination, we may also permanently ban a player from the GamezAddict website.

5.2 What is the minimum and maximum amount that I can deposit into my GamezAddict Account?
If you are using 2Checkout or PayPal® to make deposits, you are only allowed to do so in denominations of USD10.00, USD25.00 and USD50.00. There are no restrictions on amounts for deposits made by way of the Western Union Money Transfer Service®.

5.3 How do I make a deposit using the online payment mechanisms (2CheckOut and PayPal®)?
Click on the DEPOSIT FUNDS link located at the GA Account Summary Panel, the Quick Links Panel or on the GA Account Details Page. You will be brought to the GA Deposit Funds Page where you need to select your preferred online payment mechanism i.e. 2CheckOut or PayPal®. Determine the amount that you wish to deposit from the drop-down menu, and click on the PROCEED button . At the GA Deposit Funds Confirmation Page, click on the CONFIRM button to confirm the amount you wish to deposit and your selected online payment mechanism. You will then be brought to your preferred online payment mechanism website where you will complete the transaction.

5.4 What happens after I have made a deposit using the online payment mechanisms (2CheckOut and PayPal®)?
Once you have completed your transaction using your preferred online payment mechanism, you will be returned to the GA Payment Confirmation Page where you will be advised on the status of your deposit. If your deposit has been verified by your preferred online payment mechanism, then the amount deposited into your GamezAddict Account will be available immediately for your use. However, if your deposit is deemed to be pending by your preferred online payment mechanism, you are advised to contact us immediately at support@gamezaddict.com.

5.5 How do I make a deposit using the Western Union Money Transfer Service®?
Please send an e-mail to us at sales@gamezaddict.com stating your intention to make a deposit via the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. We will then send an e-mail back to you that will provide detailed instructions to enable you to make such deposit.
After you have received, read and understood our e-mail to you, you will then need to go to your local Western Union Money Transfer Service® agent and complete the form for sending money.
Your remittance must be in United States Dollars. You have to bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by your local Western Union Money Transfer Service® agent relating to deposits made to your GamezAddict Account. Once your deposit has been processed by your local Western Union Money Transfer Service® agent, you will be given a Money Transfer Control Number.
You must then logon to the GamezAddict website. Click on the DEPOSIT FUNDS link located at the GA Account Summary Panel, the Quick Links Panel or on the GA Account Details Page. Select your preferred payment mechanism i.e. the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. You will then be brought to the GA Cash Deposits Page where you will need to submit the following information to us:

• Your first name;
• Your last name;
• Your full address;
• Your e-mail address;
• The Amount remitted;
• Date of remittance;
• The Money Transfer Control Number issued by your local Western Union Money Transfer Service® agent.

5.6 What happens after I have made a deposit using the Western Union Money Transfer Service®?
Once GamezAddict receives your remittance by way of the Western Union Money Transfer Service®, we will deposit the amount to your GamezAddict Account within seven (7) working days. We will also send an e-mail to you to notify you once such deposit has been made to your GamezAddict Account. Please note that we require an additional seven (7) working days for deposits made during weekends or public holidays.

5.7 Can I get my money back after funds have been deposited into my GamezAddict Account?
Yes, you will need to submit a request to GamezAddict for a withdrawal to be made provided that you have the minimum amount of funds that can be withdrawn.

5.8 How do I make withdrawals from my GamezAddict Account?
There are two methods of withdrawing funds from your GamezAddict Account:

Please note that you are responsible, if applicable, to bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by the relevant payment mechanisms relating to withdrawals from your GamezAddict Account.

5.9 How do I withdraw funds using PayPal®?
Click on the WITHDRAW FUNDS link located at the GA Account Summary Panel, the Quick Links Panel or on the GA Account Details Page. You will then need to submit the following information to us:

• Your first name;
• Your last name;
• Your full address;
• Your e-mail address (as registered with PayPal®);;
• The amount to be withdrawn from your GamezAddict Account .

Then, select the PayPal® link as your preferred withdrawal mechanism before clicking the CONFIRM button. GamezAddict will then send an e-mail to you confirming the details that you have submitted.
The minimum amount that you can withdraw via PayPal® is USD5.00 or such other minimum amount as may be determined by PayPal®. You may not withdraw an amount exceeding the balance available in your GamezAddict Account. Please note that you have to ensure that your PayPal® account has been enabled to receive payments.
GamezAddict will require seven (7) working days in order to process your withdrawal request, and will notify you via e-mail once a withdrawal has been effected.
GamezAddict does not impose any charge for withdrawals performed by way of PayPal®.

5.10 How do I withdraw funds using Western Union Money Transfer Service®?
Click on the WITHDRAW FUNDS link located at the GA Account Summary Panel, the Quick Links Panel or on the GA Account Details Page. You will then have to submit the following information to us:

• Your first name;
• Your last name;
• Your full address;
• Your e-mail address (as registered with GamezAddict);
• The amount to be withdrawn from your GamezAddict Account.

Then, select the Western Union Money Transfer Service® link as your preferred withdrawal mechanism before clicking the CONFIRM button. GamezAddict will then send an e-mail to you confirming the details that you have submitted.
The minimum and maximum amounts that you can withdraw via the Western Union Money Transfer Service® are USD20.00 and USD100.00, respectively. A service charge of USD15.00 per withdrawal request is imposed by the Western Union Money Transfer Service® on GamezAddict and this service charge will be deducted from the amount that you wish to withdraw. Please note that the Western Union Money Transfer Service® may vary the service charge from time to time, and we will advise you accordingly. In addition, GamezAddict will impose an administrative charge of USD2.50 per withdrawal request. For example, if you wish to withdraw USD25.00 from your GamezAddict Account via the Western Union Money Transfer Service®, the total amount remitted to you will be USD7.50 (i.e. USD25.00 minus the USD15.00 service charge and USD2.50 administrative charge).
GamezAddict will require fourteen (14) working days in order to process your withdrawal request, and will notify you via e-mail once a withdrawal has been affected. This e-mail will contain information including:

• Your first name;
• Your last name;
• Your full address;
• The amount remitted;
• Date of remittance;
• The Money Transfer Control Number issued by the local Western Union Money Transfer Service® agent.

Please note that we are not responsible for the delivery time of your withdrawal as this service is performed by the Western Union Money Transfer Service®.

5.11 Does GamezAddict impose any feses or charges for processing deposits or withdrawals?
Unlike some other skill-based games websites, GamezAddict does not impose any fees or charges when you deposit funds into your GamezAddict Account. However, you are responsible to bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by the relevant payment mechanisms relating to deposits made to your GamezAddict Account.
GamezAddict does not impose any charge for withdrawals performed by way of PayPal®.
You may also withdraw using the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. The minimum and maximum amounts that you can withdraw via the Western Union Money Transfer Service® are USD20.00 and USD100.00 respectively. However, a service charge of USD15.00 per withdrawal request is imposed for withdrawals performed by way of the Western Union Money Transfer Service®. This charge is imposed by the Western Union Money Transfer Service® and will be deducted from the amount that you wish to withdraw. Please note that the Western Union Money Transfer Service® may vary the service charge from time to time, and we will advise you accordingly. In addition, GamezAddict will impose an administrative charge of USD2.50 per withdrawal request.
However, please note that you must bear the cost of any currency exchange as well as any charges or fees imposed by the relevant payment mechanisms relating to withdrawals from your GamezAddict Account.

5.12 Do you keep a history of my deposit and withdrawal transactions?
Click on the ACCOUNT DETAILS link at the GA Quick Links Panel and select the DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL HISTORY link to view all your deposit and withdrawal transactions.

6.1 What is GamezAddict’s refund policy?
Deposited funds that have been used as tournament entry fees cannot be refunded or returned once the transaction has been completed.

6.2 What if I lose my connection to the server or if there is an interruption in the electricity supply during a tournament game?
If you lose your link with the GamezAddict game and /or tournament servers during a tournament game arising from an interruption to your Internet connection or electricity supply, your final score for that game will be recognised as zero. Under such circumstances, you may inform us of such service interruption by contacting support@gamezaddict.com. GamezAddict is not obliged to make refunds under such circumstances as such service interruptions are beyond our control and responsibility. However, if the service interruption is determined by GamezAddict to be valid and unfair to you, the amount of your tournament entry fee will be refunded to your GamezAddict Account. We do not send cash directly to a player.

6.3 What happens if my tournament game is otherwise interrupted?
GamezAddict uses its best efforts to reliably deliver its services (i.e. the games and tournaments). However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and network computing, the delivery of such services may be interrupted or improperly initiated due to failures of hardware, software or network devices. Such failures include but are not limited to failure of servers, server software, service provide connections, client computer, client computer connections, client browsers or such other devices or systems that relate to the delivery, distribution and execution of the games and tournaments. Furthermore, due to the nature of tournaments, a player’s game entries cannot be undone once processed. Any failures as mentioned above or on the part of the player will result in a score of zero being recognised.

Under such circumstances, you may inform us of such service interruption by contacting support@gamezaddict.com. GamezAddict is not obliged to make automatic refunds under such circumstances as such service interruptions may be beyond our control and responsibility. However, after determining the cause of such failure and determining that the responsibility of such failure lies completely with GamezAddict, then GamezAddict although not obliged, may, at its option, refund the amount of your tournament entry fee to your GamezAddict Account. We do not send cash directly to a player.

7.1 What kind of computer is needed to play the GamezAddict games and tournaments?
The recommended minimum system specifications to properly play the GamezAddict games and tournaments are as follows:

• Pentium III (or equivalent) processor;
• 128MB RAM;
• Macromedia© Shockwave 8.5 Player (download software at www.macromedia.com);
• Microsoft® Internet Explorer browser (version 5.5 and above);
• 56k modem connection or higher.

7.2 How long does it take for a tournament game to be downloaded to my computer?
You may experience a short delay when downloading the games to your computer. This will depend on the speed of your Internet connection. Please be patient as a game does not begin until it is fully downloaded. Once downloaded, you can start playing once the GA READY logo appears.

7.3 Do I have to remain connected to the GamezAddict game and tournament servers for the duration of a game?
You have to be connected to our game and tournament servers for the duration of your game to ensure that your scores are properly processed. If you lose your connection to the GamezAddict game and tournament servers during a game, your final score for that game will be recognised as zero. Under such circumstances, you may inform us of such service interruption by contacting support@gamezaddict.com. GamezAddict is not obliged to make refunds under such circumstances as such service interruptions are beyond our control and responsibility. However, if the service interruption is determined by GamezAddict to be valid and unfair to you, you will be refunded the amount of your tournament entry fee to your GamezAddict Account. We do not send cash directly to a player.

7.4 Can I play the games on a Macintosh operating system?
We do not support the Macintosh operating system at this time. Our current gaming and tournament systems require the Microsoft® Windows operating system.

7.5 What kind of browser must I use?
You must use the Microsoft® Internet Explorer (version 5.5 and above) browser.

7.6 Can I use the Netscape Navigator browser?
Yes. Please use the Netscape Navigator browser version 4.7 and above.

7.7 Are there any bugs in the game software?
All our games at GamezAddict undergo vigorous and extensive testing and debugging during development. Contact us at support@gamezaddict.com if you come across any bugs so that we can look into the problem right away.

7.8 What are “cookies”? Does GamezAddict use cookies?
Cookies are small files stored by GamezAddict on your computer that includes your information such as player name and the tournaments that you have entered. It allows us to keep track of your preferences and “remember” your data.

8.1 Are the GamezAddict games and tournament considered gambling?
No. Gambling is an activity that involves an element of chance and monetary reward. The games offered by GamezAddict are based on skill and the outcome of any tournament depends on the skill of a player. We therefore do not consider our games to be gambling activities. Nevertheless, you are responsible for ensuring that your playing in the tournaments offered by GamezAddict does not infringe the laws and regulations of the country or territory you are in. You may, however, continue to play on our free-play games.

8.2 What is the difference between a game of skill and a game of chance?
Skill-based games are not games of chance (i.e. gambling or casino games) as your chances of winning tournaments are directly related to your skill level for a particular game.
